BEFORE THE SESSION

Membership

Junior Membership for the 2026 Season is £50, payable through the ECB links (for AllStars
and Dynamos) and payable by Direct Debit (for U11, U13, U15) when completing our 2026
Membership Form. U18 players will play the same rate as “Students”.

Training Fees
The one-off cost for the training sessions is £50 for U11’s, U13’s and U15’s.
U18’s are exempt from training fees because they will be expected to pay £5 match fees
when playing senior cricket.
All Stars and Dynamos pay a £3 training fee per week after the 8-week programme has
concluded.

Kit and Equipment
All players must come to the session changed and ready to play. Sharing of equipment
should be limited, so it is advised that each player (Year 5/Year 6/U11 and above) has their
own kit bag. Items which are important for hard ball cricket include: Bat; Pads; Gloves;
Helmet; Box; Thigh-pad(s). Please write initials on ALL of your son/daughters’ equipment.
Sports Direct have suitable stock available for first time buyers. Alternatively, you can try a
specialist shop – such as Cricket Kingdom – who will be visiting the club at regular
occasions throughout the season.

Weather
In the event of inclement weather, a message will be posted on our WhatsApp groups at
least 30 minutes before the start of the session.

Coaching
For the 2026 season, we are pleased to continue our collaborative arrangement between the
club and the Sumit Panda Cricket Academy who along with his team of experienced, high
quality and committed coaches, will be providing the coaching for all of the players. The
length of the U11, U13, U15 and U18 sessions may change from week to week to give the
best chance for the players to increase their potential and access the best possible fielding,
batting and bowling coaching sessions on a weekly basis.

DURING THE SESSION
Arrival
Travelling up and down Little Ees Lane can be very difficult when it’s busy, so we have
arranged the timing of the sessions to limit the number of people overlapping from one
session to another and to reduce congestion on the lane. Therefore, please arrive in good
time before your session is due to start. Please meet at the side of the clubhouse and
register players with one of the junior organisers who will ask the players to go to a particular
area of the outfield where your session will start. Kit bags are best left with parents or near
the nets – ready for the batting session.
The Practice Session
Coaches will guide the players through the skills as normal, ensuring all the players have fun
and make progress. Parents can follow your son/daughter around during the session or
watch the session from the beer garden. Coaches are restricted in what help they can
provide the players, so we ask parents to be available to support your son/daughter in case
of an injury or by helping put any kit on.

AFTER THE SESSION
Clubhouse
Parents and players are welcome to use the clubhouse facilities – ensuring that our Club
rules and policies (available on the club website) are read and followed. Please look out for
our food and drinks promotions on Thursday and Friday nights – especially for Juniors,
Parents and Families.

Matches
Your Junior Team Manager will communicate and organise the teams for the weekly
matches through the WhatsApp groups. Where possible all players will get an opportunity to
play in the matches, but if there are lots of players within each age group, then priority will be
given to those that show the best behaviour, attitude and commitment to the training
sessions. We will also try to arrange friendly matches to increase the number of
opportunities for the players.
