With 3 games left in the season, AOM Darts team remain right in the promotion hunt following a comfortable 6-1 home victory last night which plunged our opponents, the bottom placed Carters Arms, deeper into their own relegation dog-fight.
The “man in form” Chris Chapman threw the best average of the night (65 average) and also the least darts (18 dart leg), whilst James Compton hit the best checkout (80 finish). AOM remain in the 2nd promotion place and are now 12 points clear of 3rd place Broadheath Central, albeit Broadheath have a game in hand.

Next week Broadheath go up against top of the table Fusion Aces whilst AOM travel to 5th placed Trafford Social Club. It’s a tough run-in for Ashton with a home match against 4th placed Melville to follow and then a final day of the season trip to Fusion Aces who have only lost 1 match all season.
In related news – it was the inaugural appearance of Robbo’s cottage pie as the post-match sustenance; very much enjoyed by all!
Everyone is always welcome to come down and support the team.
